you can take one man’s trash to another man’s treasure but you can’t make it drink

Fun fact: the blending of idioms or cliches is called a malaphor.

My personal favorite is “We’ll burn that bridge when we get to it.”

I looked it up b/c that was a very familiar idiom and how could it be wrong but then

sometimes I get really stressed out because my body doesn’t match society’s expectations of beauty and sex appeal

and one night I was complaining about it to my sister and she said

"It’s not very punk rock to meet society’s expectations"

I think she changed my life

Do you know what it’s like to sit in a class and not understand anything? And you just feel even more stupid and worthless and wonder what your point is in life anymore.

I hate when the teacher is going too fast for you but you can’t speak up cause you’re shy and you’d feel stupid so you just sit there not understanding a single thing while everyone else gets it and keeps raising their hands to answer the questions and you start to worry about the test and how there’s gonna be a lot of stuff you won’t know and then you’ll fail it and then your grade in the class will be ruined which will ruin your GPA which will drive you insane and make you feel like a failure.
